About the Riders

Organization

The Roslyn Riders is a member-governed non-profit club overseen by four elected Board Officers and two trustees. Membership is renewed on an annual basis.

The club was incorporated in 1956 with a mission "to promote the association of horsemen and horsewomen desiring to advance the interest of good horsemanship and support youth interest in horsemanship". The club's bylaws and rules are at the bottom of this page.

Anyone who is interested in horses, riding, community events, or the heritage of Central Washington is welcome to join the Roslyn Riders. Horse ownership is not a requirement to enjoy the camaraderie that our club affords, although horse owners will find themselves in good company. If you are an equestrian, know that we welcome all riding styles, disciplines, and levels of experience.

If you would like to learn more about the Roslyn Riders, we encourage you to attend an upcoming meeting or event - see our Facebook page for details.

Meetings and Events

Board meetings are usually held on the first Thursday of every month in our clubhouse located at 70 Martin Road in Roslyn. The meetings begin at 7pm and are 60 to 90 minutes in length. Members, prospective members, visitors, and guests are welcome at these meetings.

The Roslyn Riders host a variety of events throughout the year. From our classic Memorial Weekend Poker Ride, to casual arena play dates, there is an event for every interest and riding style.
